Video capture help?

We tried to capture some video from the tech demos of the games Adam worked on, but the software we tried (and we tried a few different programs) didn’t work right. Unless anyone has some suggestions on how to capture a/v from a fullscreen PC game, I think we’ll have to leave that out of his portfolio.

So yeah… any suggestions?

My guess would be to get a card to run A/V out of the computer and through a VCR at which point you can record it then play it back into the machine and re-digitize it. Annoying but surefire.

Yeah. but we don’t own a VCR (or any kind of media besides the computers.) We’ve got some clips now, they’ve just got choppy video. The audio is fine, and since it’s showcasing the audio we hope that’ll be okay.
