Adam and I took his dad bike shopping today. He ended up buying a bike after trying a few different ones at different shops. It’s actually quite nice, a Giant Cypress hybrid. We then went out to see Harry Potter. The movie seemed a bit slow to me, but then I can’t even remember what the book was like. Buckbeak was fantastic though.
I got to spend a good part of the day driving Adam’s dad’s car today, which was great. It was nice, actually – Adam’s dad wanted a break from driving, and wanted to do some driving, so it worked out. Not that I drove far, just around to bike shops then to the theatre. The best part about driving Adam’s family around is that I have an excuse to not be involved in the arguments/conversations/whatever… I’m busy driving. Heh.
We then put our bike rack onto the car so that Adam’s dad can bring his bike up north with him when he goes back tomorrow. Once we’re back up there, I told him I’d go biking with him.
After Adam’s parents & brother left, we went for coffee and food at Timmy’s, where we ran into Jay & Shelley. I brought them back to the apartment to introduce Shelley to the cats, who were actually on their best behaviour.
Now I’m drinking a Woody’s Raspberry and thinking about what to do with the rest of the evening. I think Adam & Jordy want to watch Iron Monkey or something.
