I’ve just read an interesting letter from the people of the city of Hiroshima to President Bush requesting that the United States ‘guide the world toward non-proliferation and abolition’ of nuclear weapons.

I greatly fear that the acts of your administration are sweeping the human race down the path to nuclear annihilation.

Anyhow, it’s an interesting letter from the Mayor of Hiroshima, and I think it’s probably quite unfortunate that it will most likely never be addressed by the President. But then, I’ve been thinking a lot about the future of the planet lately. Things don’t look so good from here.

like any concerns of the people are addressed by the asshat we shamefully call “president”. I mean… there were tens of thousands of people marching around the globe to protest the war, and he ignored them… there were over a million people marching at his doorstep, and he will no doubt ignore them/us as well.

It’s a good thing we have a president that represents the people, eh?
