Books I’ve read so far this year:

Naked Empire – Terry Goodkind
Not my favourite book in the series (book 8 of the Sword of Truth series, my favourite was Faith of the Fallen) but still pretty good. Had a slow start, but caught up with itself eventually.

Is Your Cat Crazy? Solutions from the casebook of a cat Therapist – John C. Wright PHD (Some cat therapist)
My cat is crazy. It’s official. Cute stories though… and some good ideas to resolve your cat’s issues, if he/she has them.

Wicked – the Life and Times of the Wicked Witch of the West – Gregory Maguire
Good book. Everyone remembers the Wicked Witch from the Wizard of Oz… the alternate view of the story (and the life of the witch before Dorothy was even a consideration) was interesting and touching.

Dragonlover’s Guide to Pern – Jody Lynne Nye with Anne McCaffrey
Read it before. Got bored of television one afternoon and read it again. It’s like a textbook of Pern… unless you’re a fan, you probably will never have reason to read this.

Choke – Chuck Palahniuk
Like reading a train wreck. Not a pleasant book, but I can’t put it down. Haven’t totally finished it yet. Oh, the author is the guy who wrote Fight Club. I will never lick an envelope at a bank machine again.

Adam’s been playing Prince Of Persia. I could never play this game. I hate games that are all about timing jumps and combinations of jumps and so on… Hate them so very much. I’d play NWN, but it’s on the computer he’s playing Prince of Persia on.

My day off (tomorrow) is dedicated to visiting Adam’s grandmother, which is generally fun. I’d just get bored if I stayed at home, after all.

I need a PS2 and Dynasty Warriors. *NEED*

Yeah, definitely part of the series. I don’t think hardcore fans of the series would be too impressed if he did something else… 😉
