Dayle has yet to behave. Meh.

I emailed a college I want to attend with some questions that I couldn’t find answers to on their website. They referred me to the website. Gee, thanks for answering my questions.

There seems to be a permeating smell of puke in our apartment, but we can’t find anything that’s causing it, and none of us have puked recently. Maybe it’s coming from upstairs? It’s kinda disturbing, really.

I kept waking up last night coughing and coughing and coughing… the syrup works for a few hours, but not quite long enough. And then with Dayle whining and yowling and crying all night… I can’t remember the last time either of us slept the night through. I wish I knew something to do to to make him stop being an asshole.

This sounds disgusting, but someone might have puked in or near an air vent in a nearby apartment…a friend of mine once had someone throw up in his car, and it got into the ventilation system, and they couldn’t get it out for months. I don’t remember what he finally did to get rid of it.

It seems to have gone away… and there were many sounds of cleaning and vacuuming coming from the apartment upstairs, so the two may be related. Since the building is heated with electric baseboard heaters, I don’t think there’s much of a ventilation system in here… I could be wrong though. I haven’t exactly looked.

All I can say is, it’s a good thing I haven’t been able to smell anything for days… Sometimes colds have positive sides.
