In today’s edition of where are they now? I’d like to present Rick Springfield.

In other news… It’s wednesday. Getting together after work tonight with Cyn and a few other girls for a girls night. That should be fun.

I have a deformed gummi bear on my desk. Poor little guy. Nobody’s going to want to eat him.

I posted this at the I Have a Secret forums, in the Kitchen Party section, but I thought I’d paste it over here since I don’t feel like rewriting the same thing again. Call me lazy.

One of the women I work with studied homeopathy. I mentioned something about my leg hurting for the past two months to her in conversation, and she told me that it’s probably a vitamin deficiency of some sort. She suggested I pick up some vitamins, so I did.

Yesterday she brought in a questionnaire for me to fill out about symptoms and such. It was ten pages, and took about an hour to do. I finished it all up and handed it back to her, and she took a quick look at it.

I’ve got some definite issues happening… She said she would look into it more last night with some of her books, but a quick look at it showed me to have a whole lot of hypoglycemic symptoms. Like… a lot. And a lot of problems with Adrenals. I don’t know what the adrenals part means exactly, but I’ll hopefully know more later today. There’s also an off chance that I’m allergic to wheat/gluten. Anyhow, I’ll know more soon, and I may go into a nutrition/homeopathy place or something and figure out what to do about it.

That would certainly explain why I feel cruddy most of the time…

The adrenal glands are either of two small and virtually identical triangular endocrine glands, one at the upper end of each kidney.

There are several different diseases that affect the adrenal glands including Addison’s disease and Cushings syndrome…

That doesn’t sound promising… I’m hoping it’s something I can have an effect on by changing what I eat though…
