I think I need a book. Maybe I’ll see if the library has High Fidelity or something. I loved the movie… the book must be good. Or so I’ve heard. I really need something to read though, I finished Good Omens weeks ago and haven’t read much of anything since, unless you count when I pick up Tailchaser’s Song at night when I need to tire myself out to sleep. I’ve read that one before, though. I’m definitely due for a trip to the library, maybe I’ll do that tonight when I get home from work.

I can drop off those stupid books, too… about a month ago someone at work said to me, “I’ve got a bag of books, if you’d like to take a look at them and see if you want any.” Me, thinking that hey, books are good, I like books, told her to bring them over to my desk. She dropped them off while I was working, saying “Oh, I don’t want any of them, so when you’re done if there are any you don’t want you can do whatever with them, give them away or drop them off somewhere,” basically absolving herself of responsibility of them. Well, I went through them, and they were all harlequin-type romance (not the harlequin brand, but the same annoying genre… I didn’t want any of them. I couldn’t give them away to anyone. I ended up taking them home and saying “i’ll just drop them off at the library or on the street or something,” but I haven’t been to the library yet. Ack! I must be rid of them! I must!!!!

    High Fidelity

This is one of my favorite books of all time, read it, read it, (read it)… the movie managed to stay incredibly true to the book (which made me insanely happy) except in a few parts, you can have fun while you’re reading it trying to catch them.
